En Palma hay dos playas. A la altura del Palacio de Congresos está la playa de Can Perantoni, frecuentada por gente local, y el dique del oeste que se encuentra al del final del Paseo Marítimo, a la altura el Centro Comercial Portí. En el mismo sentido poniente se encuentra Calamajor, a unos 20 minutos a pie y a 5 en bus desde la altura del dique del oeste. Las más cercanas en sentido contrario, levante, se encuentran Es Carnatge, Can Pastilla y la Platja de Palma.
Obviaremos referenciar las principales atracciones turísticas por ser bien conocidas, y mejor publicitadas, y nos centraremos en la diversión.
La oferta de alojamiento se compone mayormente de hoteles boutique, en Palma centro, hoteles en Paseo Marítimo, hosteles juveniles y apartamentos turísticos.
La Plaça Espanya es el lugar más animado durante el día con amplia oferta en comidas, cafeterías, etc. La cercana calle Blanquerna, peatonal, es de características parecidas y en cuyo final se encuentra S'Escorxador.
Destacar el tardeo los martes en Sa Gerreria - ruta martiana - y los sábados en Santa Catalina, cuyo tardeo arranca al mediodía en el mercado. Ambas barriadas, al igual que el Paseo Marítimo y Sa Llotja, ofrecen amplia oferta gastronómica todos los días.
Santa Catalina - paralela al Paseo Marítimo - tiene especialmente una oferta de restaurantes y también interesantes locales de copas de ambiente local e internacional.
Los fines de semana Gomila ofrece locales de diversión con ambiente juvenil y latino.
Igualmente los fines de semana la marcha se anima con gente local en los polígonos del extrarradio: Son Castelló, Son Rossinyol, Can Valero...
En verano son internacionalmente famosas la calle Punta Ballena en Magalluf y la Calle del Jamón - Schinken Strasse - en Platja de Palma, con ambiente británico y alemán respectivamente.
Viernes y sábados noche y vísperas de festivos Palma dispone de un servicio nocturno de autobuses que conectan con los centros de ocio del extrarradio y con Santa Catalina y el Paseo Marítimo y en verano con S'Arenal. Todas las líneas pasan por la plaça Espanya.

Buses and Trains
